In case of joint pain, at the first sign, a medical consultation is urgently recommended, as these pains can mainly be caused by rheumatism, acute articular rheumatism, arthritis, etc.

Rheumatism represents a condition localized in the musculoskeletal system, especially in the joints and the cardiovascular system. The causes of rheumatism and joint pain are inadequate nutrition (resulting in high uric acid), kidney dysfunction, toxins accumulated in the body, insufficient fluid intake.

Acute rheumatism, the most feared form of rheumatic diseases, affects the heart in almost all cases. The disease begins with an upper respiratory tract infection, then after two weeks it manifests with fever, chills, dizziness, nausea, vomiting. The disease is most commonly localized in the hands, feet, and knees, the skin of the affected areas becomes thin, pale, shiny, and lifeless.

Clay therapy consists of internal treatment with clay water for detoxifying the body, approximately 2 months, the treatment being performed in intervals of 21-25 days, followed by a 7-day break.

External treatment can be performed through clay water baths, prepared from 1 kg of clay dissolved in water at a temperature of 37-38 degrees Celsius in the bathtub. There will be 10-15 sessions of at least 20-25 minutes each, then after the baths, wraps (poultices) with clay will be applied to the affected areas.

To make poultices, Blue Clay is mixed with warm water until it reaches the consistency of a paste. The vessel with clay is placed in another vessel with hot water, and the clay is heated to a temperature tolerable to the skin. The clay is spread on cellophane, in a thick layer, and placed on the affected area, applying clay directly to the painful surface, tied with a belt, and covered to keep warm for as long as possible (about 2 hours). This procedure is performed every two days.

A diet consisting of long-term raw food diets and sunbathing is recommended, as well as avoiding cold, moisture, overwork, intellectual effort, psychological trauma, and irritation. Once the symptoms are alleviated, joint mobilization should be performed to avoid stiffness, muscle atrophy, and inactivity osteoporosis. Recommendations for the most effective use of Blue Clay compresses/poultices
To prepare the mixture, Blue Clay is mixed (in a glass, wooden, or ceramic vessel) with warm water until a thick paste is obtained. Before application, the paste should be left to mature for about 4 hours.

The poultices are applied to the affected areas in such a way that the covered surface is slightly larger than the treated area and covered with nylon/cellophane to retain the moisture of the mixture (dry clay has no therapeutic effect). The application duration of the poultices is usually 1.5 - 2 hours.
To increase efficiency, the paste can be combined with small amounts of oils, tinctures, or herbal macerates, depending on the condition. The application of poultices to the abdominal area by women during the menstrual cycle should be avoided.
Recommendations for Blue Clay baths
Approximately 10 kg of Blue Clay is recommended for treatment. On the first day of treatment, approximately 2 kg of clay is added to the bathtub, then a little water is added until the clay softens. It is recommended to let the mixture mature for about 4 hours. The bathtub is filled with hot water, and the bath lasts for approximately 40 - 50 minutes.

After the bath, the bathtub is not emptied, and the remaining water is removed the next day with a hose. Another 2 kg of clay is added over the remaining clay, repeating the process. From the sixth to the twelfth day, the bath is practically made with the entire amount of clay (10 kg). The duration of a treatment is usually between 8 - 12 days.
Recommendations for internal clay water treatments
To prepare clay water, add a teaspoon of clay (paste or powder) to 3/4 cup (150 ml) of still water and let it sit overnight. Drink in the morning, on an empty stomach, only clear water, for 3 days. Then the course continues for 21 days, during which the water is stirred before consumption (practically ingesting the entire composition, the so-called "clay milk"). Take a break for 7 days, and then continue the treatment for another 21 days, during which "clay milk" is consumed.
If adverse effects occur (e.g., constipation), reduce the dose. Throughout the treatment, the diet should be low in fats, caffeine, and sweets, for better mineral absorption in the body.
