Clay therapy involves applying 4-6 warm compresses to the infected area, kept for the first 2-3 days for 30 minutes, then about 1 hour, renewed more quickly in case of unbearable heat sensation.

In the case of gangrene, at the beginning of the treatment, there is an apparent extension of the gangrenous area, due to the fact that the clay begins the process of eliminating gangrenous (dead and sick) cells. At the same time, three cups (approx. 150-200 ml) of clay water should be consumed per day. The water should be consumed 30 minutes before main meals for 21 days, followed by a 7-day break, with the cycle repeating for 3 months, even if the external condition has healed. Body drainage is very important in these cases!

According to analyzes conducted in 1928 by Professor Labourde, at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Strasbourg, it was found that a purulent wound treated with clay heals at a surprisingly rapid rate, the healing clay being sterile, i.e., free of microbial germs.

It should be noted that these times for maintaining the compresses must be strictly adhered to because after the absorption of toxins, the process is reversible!!! Recommendations for the most effective use of Blue Clay compresses/packs
To prepare the mixture, Blue Clay is mixed (in a glass, wood, or ceramic container) with warm water until a dense paste is obtained. Before application, the paste should be left for about 4 hours to mature.

Compresses are applied to the affected areas so that the covered surface is slightly larger than the treated area and covered with nylon/cellophane, to maintain the moisture of the mixture (dry clay has no therapeutic effect). The application duration of compresses is usually 1.5 - 2 hours.
To enhance effectiveness, the paste can be combined with small amounts of oils, tinctures, or herbal macerates, depending on the condition. Application of compresses on the abdominal area by women during the menstrual cycle should be avoided.
Recommendations for internal courses with clay water
To prepare clay water, add a teaspoon of clay (paste or powder) to 3/4 cup (150 ml) of still water and let it sit overnight. Drink in the morning, on an empty stomach, only clear water, for 3 days. Then the course continues for 21 days, during which the water is stirred before consumption (practically ingesting the entire composition, the so-called "clay milk"). Take a break for 7 days, and then continue the treatment for another 21 days, during which "clay milk" is consumed.
If adverse effects occur (e.g., constipation), reduce the dose. Throughout the treatment, the diet should be low in fats, caffeine, and sweets, for better mineral absorption in the body.
